((The Seven can start off anywhere, but I request that by the end of the post, they're in the forest.))
Standing atop one of the many skyscrapers in Station Square, a teen with black hair styled back like quills stood. His red eyes staring downwards, looking for something. On his quills, the tops were also dyed red to look like Shadow's quills, and his black jacket and pants also showed his rebel nature.
"Yes sir. I'm checking right now," a voice said from the stairway leading up to the roof. You see, this teenager was known for playing risky pranks at death, normally by jumping off of the skyscrapers and scaring everyone. He normally got a lashing from his father later, but he never took it in. A man stepped out and saw the teenager jump off the edge of the building. "Hiro!" the man shouted, just a little to late.
Everyone on the ground started screaming as they watched the teen falling from the skyscraper, and almost hit the ground, but he grabbed a flagpole and spun, landing on his feet. The sound of sirens went off, and Hiro slipped into the alley. He stopped a few feet in as his dad walked over. "Hiro," he said. "I don't know what's causing you to do this, but I'm not taking it anymore."
Hiro disappeared and he whispered in his dad's ear, "Then I suggest giving me a bit of leeway and let me act like a normal teen." His voice was very much like Shadow's, and with the proximity of where he was to the Emerald was giving him some of Shadow's own Chaos Powers. Hiro's dad jumps and spun around to see Hiro standing on the dumpster with a pistol in his hand.
"How did you become like this?" Hiro's dad asked, sounding desprate. "Your mom is afraid of what you do, and that someday you are going to die!"
"If I die," Hiro started, jumping down from the dumpster, "Then I'm going to die with a legacy behind me." With that, Hiro ran off for the forest, his shoes helping to speed up his already fast self. He could hear his dad behind him, and started jumping through the forest and avoiding everything.
The moment Hiro reached a clearing, his second home, he jumped into one of the trees covered by shade and watched his dad run straight through. "Pathetic," he muttered, and jumped on the ground.
There was something different about this clearing today. It seemed to be filled with the power of something that he couldn't understand, but felt like he needed to complete himself. Hiro looked around a bit before feeling something, or someone, tugging him towards the edge of the clearing where there was something glowing. Sitting neatly between two roots of a tree in the ground was a green Emerald, but it had black tendrils slithering through it. "Odd," Hiro muttered, picking up the Emerald and falling unconcious immediatly.
