Travel through Time

This idea just came to me last night. I don't know how or why, but I did, then I kept dreaming about it. >.> Prologue will be in first person, but the rest of the chapters will be in 3rd. And yes, before any of you ask, I've got a problem with female silver wolves. (You'll see in the story)

Prologue~

I never thought this would happen to me, but it did. My day started off like any normal day would...

I woke up in the forest and started running around. I was killing time before I went over to Amy's. She sent me a note telling me to go there later, though I had no idea what for. When it was noon, I went to her house to see why she wanted me to meet her.

I knocked on the door and Amy opened it. "Hi, Sonic," Amy said. She seemed a little uneasy.

"Hey, Amy," I said and walked in. Her room was simple, white walls and two chairs with red cusions. Sitting opposite of the chairs was a red couch, and there was a glass table with a bunch of pictures of everyone underneath the glass. Sitting behind the table was Cream, and Cheese was sitting next to her on it. Behind them, Cream's mom, Vanilla, sat on the couch. Amy walkedover with some tea and cookies and I accepted them.

"Hello, Sonic," Cream said.

I smiled and said, "Hi Cream. Hello Vanilla."

There was a knock on the door and Amy answered it. "Hello, Tails," Amy said. Tails walked in and greeted everyone. (Yes, Tai. Tails is ok.) Tails sat down in one of the chairs and accepted the tea and cookies that Amy gave him.

Amy said, "Since I'm sure Knuckles won't come, I'm going to show you guys now." Amy showed a Chaos Emerald and said, "I found it laying on the ground, but after I grabbed it, Eggman's robot came and almost took it from me."

"Eggman hasn't been seen in a long time," Cream said. "Why appear now?"

As if in answer to that question, a voice went through the room and said, The Vortex of Time has been opened.

"What?" I asked. Everyone looked at me.

Amy asked, "What's wrong, Sonic?"

I knew no one else must of heard that voice. Before I could reply, though, I saw a transparent-looking silver wolf wearing a white dress that touched the floor. The sleeves on the dress went down past her hands.

Amy said, "Sonic, you ok?" The silver wolf disappeared, but I felt something go down my spine, and I didn't like the feeling one bit.

"Yea, I'm ok," I replied. What was that? I thought, and who was that wolf? My answers were going to come later that day.

"So, anyway," Amy said, "I was wondering what we should do with the Emerald, and the fact that Eggman appears to be returning."

I asked, "What else? We just go and take him down again like we always do."

"Why not?" Tails asked. "We can always give it a try, and if it doesn't work, we can always come up with something else. Right?"

"Right," I replied, smiling at the group. "In the meantime, I think it would be best if Tails took the Emerald."

Amy nodded and gave Tails the Emerald. Since it had been a while since we were called together like this, we started talking about what we've been up to and what's been going on.

If only I knew how fast this peace would be gone.

I went to sleep near Amy's house that night. When I woke up, I was in a round cloudy tube of somekind. Then I noticed that it wasn't a cloudy tube, but it looked like a vortex of somekind. Then I noticed that standing in front of me was the same wolf I saw standing behind Amy. I could tell that her eyes didn't have one color, but rather four, flashing between Morning Orange, Noon Blue, Dusk Pink, and Midnight Black.

"Where am I?" I asked almost immediately.

The wolf replied, "In the Vortex of Time. There is no choice but to go. I must warn you, many great heroes have gone through the Vortex of Time before, but never returned." Before I could say anything she motioned to either sides of the tube and continued, "If you were to walk down either side, you would find heroes trapped in sleep because they found something unbearable and can never go to sleep until they overcome it."

I looked confused, and I said, "So I would find many different people sleeping if I went down either side?"

The wolf nodded and said, "Yes. The Time Vortex will open and take someone in, which will cause the oen that it took into it's depths to travel through time, though his or her body will remain hanging here. Until the journey is over for everyone that follows this, you will not be able to sleep when awake until it's time, and you will not bea able to wake up from sleep until it's time for them to." Before I could say anything, she continued, "Now, before you start your journey, I will give you one gift to help you out through this journey." She raised her right arm and the sleeve fell down to reveal that her hand followed the same pattern color as her eyes did.

I felt something on my neck, and looked down to see a guitar-shaped necklace.(Can't go anywhere without the medallion. XD)

"Now, your future is about to unfold, and you'll even meet up with those you've known, but long forgotten," the wolf said before I shot up. I looked around and thought it was all an actual dream. It wasn't.

The medallion was still around my neck, and instead of seeing Amy's house, I saw Nothing but trees. I was in the forest! Then I remembered what that wolf told me, that I would be floating in the Vortex of Time until I was done with my journey. So, was this me, or is this simply a copy? I looked the same as I normally did, but then I heard voices from down below.




There might be misspellings in there, but I'll try and fix it later. Feedback please. And next Chapter is going to be mixed with Tai's Story. Then it's going to be Asuki's, then, if Kiara is ready with her story by then, I can do her. If Kiara isn't, I'll find a provision.

When I see Sonic, I'm gonna be like, "Where have you been the past some-odd years?!" And he won't remember me. << >>

DDDDDD: SORRY FOR NOT BEING ON FOR A WHILE. I've been drawing and writing and stuffs...

I like the 'fic. :3 'Tis awesome. But the events went by rather quickly, I should hope that gets fixed in later chapters...?

here's some pointers on how to lengthen the story, even if you didn't need them xD

pointer #1: try and tell what they're doing, like if they're tapping their hand to the table or if someone's walking in circles as the other talked or such.

pointer #2: for a less blunt effect try not to sound like; He said, she said, he said. they moved around and talked some more. this is a problem for me at times... <.< >.>

pointer #3: try giving people the opportunity to imagine the scene, instead of just 'seeing white and the people just standing there.' for this try and tell them about the environment a bit more and what the people're doing.

pointer #4: always remember, Adjectives are your friend =3
